Why AMGA?
---- A national professional trade association such as the American Mobile Groomers Association, provides valuable credibility, networking and education that helps foster success. The American Mobile Groomers Association is formed to promote excellence among mobile groomers and to serve as a voice for this expanding industry.

Setting Standards for the Industry…
---- AMGA maintains a Pledge of Professional Conduct that it expects all of its members to follow in their businesses. Members must sign the Pledge when they join.

Education is the Key to Success…
---- AMGA will contribute to the ongoing education of its members and by serving as a resource center and referral service to pet owners and mobile groomers. It will also offer books, articles, publications, video tapes and other information about mobile pet grooming. A nationwide Referral Network of mobile groomer members is provided to pet owners and members through the membership
headquarters.
---- AMGA members receive continuous education from the Association through a Quarterly Newsletter filled with tips and articles, a National Annual Conference featuring recognized authorities in pet care and mobile groomers as speakers, and many local and regional meetings run by the membership.
---- A public relations program by AMGA will provide educational information to various interested media. AMGA will act as a voice for the mobile grooming industry. Press releases will be distributed to national media to inform the public about the benefits of mobile grooming and using an AMGA member.
