• To serve as a network for the exchange of ideas and information on all aspects of mobile grooming, including current industry practices

• To educate the pet-owning public to the advantages of mobile grooming in a comfortable,
less stressful environment

• To educate the public that hiring a mobile groomer, who is a AMGA member, means the mobile groomer follows professional standards, and a Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Quality Pet Care

• To encourage cooperation with other branches and trades within the pet care industry

• To work towards legislation that is good for the mobile groomer and pet owner.
